Wound Care Center
HSC Medical Center has a Wound Care Center that is staffed with a team consisting of physicians and nurses who are trained in
wound care. The center will offer unique outpatient services to patients with chronic and complex problem healing wounds. Many wounds require special care to heal. The following wounds can be effectively treated: diabetic wounds, pressure ulcers, osteomyelitis, arterial ulcers, and other non-healing wounds.
Based on individual requirements, treatment options for wounds may include compression therapy, vacuum assisted closure, therapeutic application of growth factors, and artificial skin grafting. For more information or to make a referral, please call 501-332-7000.
