HSC Medical Center 's Physical Therapy Department is a team consisting of physical therapists and physical therapy technicians. The team works with both inpatients and outpatients ranging from ages 8 to 108 years of age. Services provided by the department include: whirlpool therapy; gait training; exercise for soft tissue therapy; and treatment areas include ultrasound, traction and massage for physical modalities, electrical stimulation, pre and post rehab training. Combined, the team has 47 years of experience and uses cutting edge equipment including: game ready, interferential and iontophoresis. The department also provides a modified back school.
